Recommended Route from I-90
If you are coming to Avon Lake via I-90, we recommend getting off at State Round 83 (exit 153) and taking that north all the way to the lake (US Rt 6), rather than the suggested Exit 151 (OH 611/Colorado Ave). It’s 5 minutes longer but is a nicer drive through Avon Lake.
Parking at the house
When large groups come over, we park cars in our front lawn (yellow), in addition to the parking paved spots (blue). We try to keep the driveway clear for people to come and go easily.
Overflow Parking
We can fit about 15 cars in the driveway/yard, but if there are no spots available when you arrive, there is a city park with public parking just 0.25 miles away (5-minute walk) at Miller Road. Note that the larger spots near the road are designated for boat trailer parking.
